Real-Time Water Monitoring Technology Built for Action
Flowlink combines independent monitoring, purpose-built hardware and software, project-specific rules, and automated flow control where required — so teams can see changing conditions as they happen, respond before a problem escalates, and keep a traceable record of what was measured and how the system responded.

The Challenge
Water Quality Can Change Quickly. Does Your Monitoring Keep Up?
Water quality at project sites and in receiving environments is not static. Treatment performance can shift, site conditions can change, and spills or other pollution events can occur between manual sampling events.
Manual sampling remains important, but it only confirms conditions at the time a sample is taken. Critical changes between samples may be missed. Non-compliant water can be discharged, environmental impacts can go undetected, treatment systems may not perform as expected, and teams may only learn about a problem after it has occurred.
Flowlink was created to close that gap. High-frequency real-time monitoring makes changes in water quality, flow, and equipment status visible as they happen. Our intelligent alerting system helps teams respond quickly, and where automated flow control is configured, our systems stop discharge or reroute non-compliant water immediately. The supporting records show what was measured, when conditions changed, and how the Flowlink monitoring system and project team responded.

The Solution
More Than Monitoring. A Complete Solution
Flowlink brings together independent monitoring, field hardware, intelligent software, automated flow control where required, disciplined quality management, and expert support. Each solution is configured around the application, monitoring objectives, site conditions, and regulatory requirements.
Clients work with one accountable team from system design and commissioning through maintenance and ongoing support. Behind that work is Flowlink’s ISO 9001:2015-certified Quality Management System and an experienced team that takes responsibility for the performance of the complete solution.
The result is reliable, defensible data, clear evidence that the system is performing as intended, and greater confidence in compliance.
The Technology
Patent-pending
From Changing Conditions to Informed Action
Flowlink patent-pending technology does more than collect and display data. It connects standard and specialized sensors with field hardware, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, cellular or satellite communications, proprietary software and, where required, automated flow control. Field measurements and equipment status move from the site to the Flowlink® platform in real time. Where automated flow control is configured, the software can send commands back to the on-site controller.

Impact
Better Information. Better Outcomes
When teams can see conditions as they change, they can act sooner, make decisions using current information, and retain the evidence needed to understand what happened.

01
Better Operational Decisions
See changing water quality, flow, and equipment status earlier, respond faster, and use real-time information to improve treatment, project operations, and water management decisions.
02
Greater Compliance Confidence
Identify conditions outside applicable criteria sooner and take corrective action. Where automated flow control is configured, the system can stop discharge or reroute water to reduce the risk of a non-compliant release. Maintain accurate, defensible records of monitored conditions, system performance, and response.
03
Stronger Environmental Protection
Detect unusual water-quality changes and potential pollution events sooner, investigate possible sources, and act before impacts escalate. Use real-time and historical data to better understand and protect receiving environments.

Built for Your Industry
Built Around the Way You Operate
Construction projects, municipal programs, and wastewater and industrial facilities face different operating conditions, regulatory requirements, and environmental risks. Flowlink configures each solution around those realities.
Construction
Deliver Projects with Confidence
Manage changing water quality, reduce compliance risk, and keep projects moving with real-time monitoring, targeted alerts, and automated flow control where required.
Municipalities
Protect Communities and Waterways
Monitor waterways and municipal discharges, detect unusual changes earlier, investigate potential spills, and build long-term records that support watershed and infrastructure decisions.
INDUSTRIAL & COMMERCIAL FACILITIES
Improve Oversight and Simplify Compliance
Monitor wastewater quality, flow, and volume as facility conditions change, respond sooner, and simplify permit reporting with a clear, traceable monitoring record.
Applications
From Discharge Control to Environmental Monitoring
Construction discharge, receiving waters, groundwater, and wastewater each require different measurements, rules, and responses. Flowlink combines its proven technology with the flexibility to configure each solution around the site conditions, monitoring objectives, and regulatory requirements.

Construction Effluent Monitoring & Control
Prevent Non-Compliant Discharge
Monitor treated construction discharge in real time and, where automated flow control is configured, stop discharge or reroute water when applicable compliance criteria are exceeded.

Surface Water Monitoring
See Environmental Change as It Happens
Monitor selected locations in creeks, rivers, lakes, ponds, and receiving environments to establish baselines, identify changing conditions, investigate incidents, and assess potential impacts.

Groundwater Monitoring & Control
Treat Water Only When Treatment Is Needed
Monitor dewatering effluent in real time and, where automated routing is configured, direct compliant water to discharge and non-compliant water to treatment.

Wastewater Monitoring
Simplify Compliance and Improve Process Control
Continuously monitor wastewater quality, flow, volume, and equipment status, respond to changing facility conditions, and produce the data and reports needed to support permit compliance.

Protecting Water Is Why We Exist
Flowlink was created to close a gap in construction water management: water quality could change between manual samples, and by the time a problem was discovered, the water may already have been discharged. We built technology that makes those changes visible in real time and, where automated flow control is configured, can stop discharge or reroute water not meeting the acceptable criteria before it reaches the receiving environment.
Today, that same purpose guides all of our work. Whether we are helping prevent a harmful discharge, investigate a pollution event, or understand longer-term changes in a waterway, our goal is the same: give people the information and tools to protect water while there is still time to make a difference.

Construction · Storm Water
“Six Flowlink systems were employed on one of our projects that required constant monitoring due to its proximity to sensitive ecosystems and fish-bearing streams. Having been an environmental monitor on many large-scale projects, this was the first project where the threat of an inadvertent release to the environment didn’t keep me up at night. The real-time monitoring, fail-safe flow control and alerts meant that I knew exactly what was going on with the treatment systems at all times. Thank you for helping to contribute to a successful project!”

“Flowlink is the solution to uncertainty inherent in periodic or infrequent environmental monitoring. Environmental monitoring with Flowlink is robust, accurate and cost-effective compared to the typical approach. With Flowlink push notifications and analytics, our office supervisors could track problems, issues, and trends often before the on-site field monitoring staff.”
